Whatever problems this place has experienced seem to have been resolved. We had a fabulously good meal of Chicken Piccata, Sole Francese and especially the lamb shank Pizzaola that would rival the best downtown restaurants. Also an excellent Caesar salad (you could actually taste the anchovies). Centanni redux! The service was friendly and punctilious.

I love the Italian food here! Way better than any chain restaurant. The chef Alex makes the best food! Get the steak Marsala or the champagne linguini shrimp.

We go there because it is not crowded and we can always get a seat. It was always average at best, but now the food is horrible. I had veal parm and the sauce was like ketchup and the veal was like leather and it seemed like it was from a frozen package. I am now going to stay away. There is always a reason a restaurant is not busy. POOR FOOD. I am sorry to say this. It was a nice neighborhood place but it has gone down hill.

Single worst dining experience ever had in Palm Beach. Food was overpriced and took longer than normal considering it was less-than-par. Avoid this place if you want to use Groupon too, they will only accept printed vouchers and not a mobile device. Word of advice from a local.

Typically poor Italian restaurant wannabe. Margherita pizza: doughy, bland, and every dish on menu, including appetizers, covered with mozzarella! Sorry, there are many other places to go than here..... Without spending their prices!!

Had the lasagna, decent, sauce was runny and it was a small portion for an Italian restaurant. Bread was good.

Nice, smaller size Italian restaurant with some nice dishes. Eggplant parm is good and champagne chicken also. Skip the desserts as the ones we tried were frozen.

My friend Ron George bought me a gift certificate and since then I think I buy chicken picatta take out once a week. Family business makes it a plus. Owners kids are there working hard everytime I go.

Great small little Italian restaurant. Staff is friendly. Doesn't have the blandness of a chain. Try the veal di Tuscany.

We used to go here about once a month.. felt like the food quality was starting to go down - prices going up and as they started getting busier - the attitude started to change. We never worried about reservations before and a small wait is never a problem. We walked in about 20 mins. before closing and they asked us to leave - said it was too late to start new meals. Never ever experienced that in any of the area resteraunts we go to. Tried a 2nd time - an hour prior to closing and they asked if we had reservations - even with open seating and no one waiting we were refused service again. Not going to make any more attempts here... not sure what their goal is but customer service or appreciation is not a top 10.

Carrabas Italian spot was closes so this was actually a great surprise. Great decor for such a little spot in a plaza. Has a pretty decent selection of dishes. Ordered the meatballs to start - soft and succulent with great seasoning, not too hot or warm and bursting with flavor. Finished with chicken champagne which was flavorful and light and a pretty decent portion considering the price. Definitely worth the attempt if you are in the area and don't want to break the bank for some pretty good italian cuisine. Prices are unbearable.

Great portions for a great price. Definitely check the restaurant out. The eggplant rollatine and chicken marsala are excellent. A good local place in the West Palm Beach area. Everything was very fresh, only the place is a bit hard to find. Look closely in the shopping center as it is hidden.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
